Conceived by Brian McCutcheon with contributions from Julian Jamaal Jones and crafted by Ignition Arts, this work stands as a vibrant testament to revitalization and community resilience. Installed through the City of Indianapolis' Public Art for Neighborhoods Program, 65/70 Riff fuses elements of highway infrastructure with improvisational abstraction, creating a dynamic visual that centers community and creativity. Located in the Makers Alley Courtyard, near 11th and Capitol Ave., just outside of Grounded Plant and Floral, the installation invites you to explore, reflect, and celebrate.

The James Beard is coming to Indy to support the Epicurean Indy mission! We're bringing together some of the most-awarded chefs in Indy for a dinner to support the global food scene in our city. At the Friends of James Beard Dinner, enjoy a reception-style dinner by the chefs behind some of Indy's most notable restaurants, plus wines, cocktails, and mocktails.

What to expect at this event:

This launch party will be the first public Connection Club event so it'll be like a sneak peek of what to expect from our creative workshops and community pop-up events around the city. Bring a friend, or come alone, and you'll be sure to see some familiar faces or meet some friendly folks who are also passionate about community, the arts, and Indianapolis.

The open house-style event will feature make-and-take arts and crafts stations, photo ops, light apps, partner vendors, and more! Additionally, this event will coincide with Third Thursdays at The Stutz — so feel free to explore the other artist studios or grab tacos and adult bevs from Julieta's and Turners while you're onsite).

This special 75-minute monthly yoga class has a different Teacher each month, leaving no two classes the same. Each class aligns with the timing of the full moon, with class taking place on the Thursday nearest the month’s full moon. Full Moon Reflections + Yoga combines postural yoga, breath work, meditation and special theming to create a holistic experience for mind, body + spirit.

Summer is a time of activity, heat, and constant movement. It can be hard to find the time to relax and just let your mind be quiet. Join Myriad Yoga for a restorative Yoga Nidra session to help your body move from a time of action to a time of letting go. Within this session you will be guided through a peaceful meditation that invites time for self-reflection and rest. Myriad Yoga will be offering their highly-rated introductory course to Aerial Yoga this Summer to help guide you through the basics of an aerial yoga practice. This four week course is geared towards beginner students, teaching all things aerial yoga including Aerial terminology, getting comfortable with the silk, learning basic Aerial postures, and beginning to work with inversions and hanging from the silk. 

Aerial is a casual departure from a typical yoga class — these classes create an open environment to practice unusual fitness movement and challenge your body in unique ways. This fun and playful movement style utilizes a silk hammock and incorporates aspects of postural yoga, breath work, body weight and dynamic movement. Register here.
